I am highly qualified in both mathematics and statistics, and a highly experienced tutor. I studied math at Princeton University in the USA, and have an MSc in statistics (first-class honours), and a Bsc double majoring in psychology and maths, with first-class honours in psychology, all from Auckland University.
During High school, I was one of the top maths students in the country and twice represented NZ at the International Maths Olympiad (only 6 people are chosen for the NZ team). In 2015 I was awarded the prestigious Prince of Wales Scholarship to do a PhD in Biostatistics at Cambridge University, however, I ultimately decided to not take this offer up. Instead, I decided on a change of direction and am currently a third-year law student.
I am able to help with any high school math topics, and most undergraduate math and statistics topics. I can also help with Standardized Test prep in quantitative sections. I took the SAT and GRE myself, gaining near-perfect scores on both. I also gained a perfect 800 on the SAT math II subject test.
I can also help with problem-solving/extension work, such as math competition preparation/olympiad math.
My other interests include chess, music, yoga and equestrian.
