Question
Write a persuasive speech on the following subject:

Should mobile phone be banned in classroom?

Introduction;

Nowadays cell phones are in everywhere on the streets. Mobile phones are not what they used to be for only calling or texting but now there are games, music and camera function are available in a cell phones. In my opinion cell phone should be banned in class as there are the disadvantages of students using their phones in classroom.

Firstly: the mobile phones can be distraction to the students if the school allows them to bring the cell phones in class. For instance, during lesson time, it is known that students cannot use it when the teacher is reaching. However, some student may just use it underneath their desks or behind their textbook and ultimately this will affect their grades. When students use their cell phones to check social media and text their friends in class, it leads to distractions for those students as well as for their peers. This can cause disruption in class, particularly if the teacher is constantly telling students to turn their devices off. A cell phone can easily turn from “classroom learning tool” into classroom disruption”. For example, distraction from schoolwork: With the temptation of social media and texting in their hand, student may focus solely on their social life instead of the lesson plan
