New York due is one of the most highly populated cities in the world. It is regarded as a world economic centre. The economy of the city is booming and is the headquarters of many global multinationals such as Wall Street. With this high population and the strategic position of the city, it is projected that there is high demand for legal services in New York City and business to offer legal services would boom in such an environment. We intend, therefore, to set up a law firm, in the name of DMP Attorneys, at the Heart of the New York City to offer legal services to its residents.

The firm seeks to offer a range of legal services such as litigation in both criminal and civil case, legal representation whenever called upon and legal advisory in various legal issues such as commercial transactions. The firm, however, hopes to expand in future to such areas as estate administration, corporate governance, accounting and auditing and furtherance of legal education and training in the US.

To ensure cost-effectiveness and delivery of quality service to our client, the firm aims at recruiting the top lawyers, offering them a conducive environment to work from and promote and reward hardworking staff, which will comprise of lawyers and the subordinate staff. The quality of our services will also be enhanced through setting standards and ensuring that they are complied with at all times.

The supply chain of our service begins and ends with the end-user. It is the end-user who seeks our services, and in the end, they are one to benefit from it.

Introduction

The current ratio of attorneys to American citizens is very low, whereas the constitution guarantees every citizen’s right to access justice, which includes a right to a counsel and legal representation (Backus & Marcus, 2018). Of course, with this low number of attorneys in the country, it creates a good opportunity to run a profitable legal practice business. This is the reason behind the formation of DMP attorneys at the heart of New York City. The purpose of this business is to provide legal services to clients, with the ultimate goal of ensuring access to justice by all members of society. The vision of this business, therefore, is to aid in the realisation of the access to justice to all citizens, regardless of their economic and social status and to enable a creation of a fair and justice society where the rule of law, fair administration of justice and equality before the law prevails. The mission of the Firm will be to offer high quality, timely and reliable legal services to our clients and to foster access to justice for all.

Service Description and Delivery Methods

DMP Attorneys seeks to offer legal services to our clients. The services will range from legal advisory and consultancy on various matters such as criminal and civil matters, company law, marriage law, formation and incorporation of companies and businesses, alternative dispute resolutions such as arbitration, custody of testamentary wills and declaratory testimonies, transfer and acquisition of properties, among others. The service will also extend to the representation of our clients in courts of law and whichever tribunals they are summoned upon to appear or any instance where they need legal counsel.
